🎅Kinder 2 and 3 Christmas and Boxing Day

Good Afternoon Everybody!
Yesterday was a fun day for the kinder 2 class! We had a fun Christmas party with everybody and Santa came too! For the last couple of weeks in our English class we practiced a Christmas song everyday and yesterday we sang it all together. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go to the party but I heard everybody did a really great job! The kids got a lot of fun toys as well from Santa. We had a lot of fun playing with them today.
For today’s lesson we had a lot of fun! First we had our leaders do the hello song then we played a fun color game with dominos. The kids have to listen to me and race to make the correct tower. For example I will say “6 pink dominos” and the kids have to make a tower of six pink dominos. After we always try making sentences independently. Everybody did a really great job at the plurals today. For example, 1 cat, 2 catS. Or 1 banana, 10 bananaS. 1 domino, 2 dominoS.
After that we did our workbooks for today. Today the letter was W. I was surprised how many W words they could think of. Wednesday, white, windy, watch, and wombat. They even thought of sentences “what’s your name” and “what’s today’s date?”. Great job everybody.
To end the lesson we practiced our colors again with our Christmas words. “The present is punk”, “the reindeer is brown”, or “the Christmas tree is green”. Next month we are gonna have some new vocabulary words to try and make new color sentences with.
