Good Afternoon Everybody!

Today was an interesting and exciting day!
First we practiced some evacuation drills together in the morning. Recently there have been a lot of Earthquakes so it’s important to be prepared!

After the drill we had some special guests from the local fire department and they brought their fire trucks and ambulance too!

They demonstrated some fire safety using fire extinguishers! Even some teachers demonstrated too. All the nursery kids sat patiently and did a great job listening.

The kids loved the fire truck the most. Some of them said “big” when they got close to it. The firefighters were kind enough to show us some of their fire fighting equipment inside the truck. It was so cool!

After that we saw an ambulance. It was white and smaller than the fire truck,  but the kids were very interested! They all patiently lined up to take a look inside.

Today was a really fun day! On Friday we will have a special lessons with some of the words and things we learned today! See you then!
