At the end of each day, the Kinder students take some time to think about the day’s activities and draw a picture of their experience. Sometimes the students draw objects from the day, such as a slide, and sometimes they draw a scene, such as swimming with friends. It is always interesting to see what students remember.
Diary time is also a good time to teach new vocabulary and practice writing and spelling. Diary time ends with the students writing one word from the day. Today’s word was “winter”!
