Today, after the kids had said “Hello”, they practiced the phrase “Come here, please.”
They did very well at asking me to “Come here, please.” They also did well at making sure I couldn’t get away.
After that, they practiced counting. They are good at counting from 1 to 12, but need a little practice in finger dexterity.
They gave it a good attempt and are gradually getting better. Their 11 and 12, done with their legs, is positively dance like.
They then practiced their ABC’s. The ABC song is no problem for them and they are gradually starting to recognize letters. Great job.
For their workbooks, they had to identify and connect the correct letters to the picture, for example Kk to ‘king’. Finally they could color the pictures.
After the lesson it was lunch time, and since this is International Week and they had learned about the U.S., what better lunch than hamburgers. They chose what they wanted and made their burger,
and enjoyed the taste of America.
They all agreed, Yummy!
