みなさん、こんにちは🌞Kinder2クラスです！

今日は、7月7日『七夕🎋』の日に向けた取り組みをご紹介します📢

Kinder2クラスでは七夕に向けてまず、七夕飾りをたくさん作りました！

七夕に由来を知り、飾り一つひとつの意味を確認しながら丁寧に作っていきましたよ✨✨

【貝飾り🐚】

魚や貝がたくさん取れますようにという願いが込められています⭐️

折り紙を半分に折り、たこさんを作るみたいにハサミで切れ込みを入れていきます✂️

慣れると自分たちで何個も何個も貝飾りを作っていました🙌

【輪飾り⭕️】

人と人がずっと繋がっていきますように、みんなの夢が繋がっていきますようになどの願いが込められています⭐️

折り紙の色が内側にきてしまったり、丸ではなく雫型になったり慣れるまでに時間がかかりましたが上手に作ることが出来ました👏

【スイカ飾り🍉】

食べ物の豊作を祈る意味が込められています⭐️

折り方が少し複雑なため、苦戦していましたが保育者の折り方を真似ながら一生懸命折ることが出来ました🤗

出来上がったスイカに種などを描いて完成です🎵

作った飾りをクラスに吊るして七夕の雰囲気を感じながら過ごす子どもたちでした🎋😊

本日は遠足の予定でしたが、あいにくの雨でしたね。

てるてる坊主さんのパワーも足りず残念がる子ども達でしたが、NOVAうさぎの宝探し(トレジャーハント)をすることも知っていたので、気持ちも高まりました✨✨

3人組になり手を繋いでLet’s go‼️

宝の場所はKinder2の部屋と一時保育室、絵本コーナー、廊下にしました😁🔆

The trip to the park was very exciting. The kids were so excited singing on the bus and talking about their lunchboxes.

As we arrived, the student can’t hide their eagerness to play with the slides.

Nothing was difficult for these students. Although some of them got scared, most were ready to climb.

There were no boring area for them to play.

Each of them patiently waited for their turns to go on slides and that made everyone happy. Being able to share the same excitement made them bond better.

The enthusiastic faces of children made the teachers excited as well.

After all the energy consuming activity, everyone was happy to see their adorable lunch prepared with love. As students were all equally hungry they still manage to let their friends see how cute their lunch were.

Exciting as it was, every journey has and end. Everyone was tired after playing at a new place. Some of the kids even fell asleep on the ride back to school.

The Pre-kinder Class has been learning new action words! 👏👏

Their listening skills are getting much better. 👂👂 They can listen to a few basic instructions, one after another, to follow steps.

The class did an amazing job listening for the actions words: jump, spin, bounce and catch. 🫴🏀

They could also follow basic directions: up, down and around!✨👏✨

Wow! ✨☺️✨

This month, we had a blast learning about the seasons and different actions! We started our first week with the seasons. We had fun coming up with gestures as well as getting to draw our favorite season.

We had fun playing English games! One of our favorite games was our gesture game! The group standing up told the other students to put their head downs, and the group would pick a target word to gesture and then tell their classmates to wake up. The standing students would then gesture! It was so much fun!

Everyone has done a great job with introductions! Saying their name, age, and feeling is a breeze for the students, so we added things like food (the students love Pokemon bread!) and colors! When doing colors, we use are colorful ball to help!

K2’s writing is WONDERFUL! Everyone can now write their names by themselves! Anytime we practice in our book, the students have no problem tracing and even matching the alphabets! I’m so happy with how much the students have improved when it comes to writing! Soon we’ll be moving to using pencils instead of crayons, they’re going to do great!

K2 worked hard, so we learned how to play fun games! We played musical chairs and learned how to play Duck, Duck, Goose. The students had so much fun playing both games. They also sang along to the english songs during musical chairs.

先日、食育がありました😊

今回の内容は「出汁の飲み比べ」✨

昆布・しいたけ・たまねぎの三種類を飲み比べていました😊

「ちょっと違うな・・・？」「こっちの方がおいしい😋」と味わって飲んでいましたよ🎵

中にはおかわりをする子も！次の食育も楽しみたいと思います🎶

そして、さんぽをしていると、北海道神宮祭りのおみこしに遭遇しました😲

間近で見るおみこしや、山車は迫力があったようで、子ども達は大興奮でした😊　 楽しい思い出がたくさんできた子ども達でした🎵

Today was a morning lesson for the Kinder 3 class, so lots of energy to use up.  First, we started with the “Walk around the Circle” song.  The children enjoy the movements.  Starting with walking,

we moved on to galloping, then tip-toeing.  Then some sleeping.

Always a favorite.  Once “awake,” the children then hopped and twirled.

With the warm-up finished, we all said hello.

The first phrase we practiced today was “Excuse me!”  It’s a more polite way to get someone’s attention.

Once they had the instructors attention, they would ask for something. It’s usually for something like a tissue, or to go to the toilet, but I think the children were a bit hot, as most of them wanted a drink.

With thirsts quenched, we practiced adding and subtracting numbers.  First, counting up to 30 is getting faster for them, great work.  For the game, we put out 2 piles of blocks and said “plus.”  The children then had to add the two piles and give me the answer.

We then did the same for “minus,” where they had to subtract the 2nd pile from the 1st.  Addition was easier for them, but they are starting to get used to subtraction.  Once we had practiced with the instructor, it was time for the children to choose the blocks.

Once the children had had their fill of counting, we moved on to the alphabet.  We sang the “ABC song” with hearty volume and clapping, then moved on to their workbooks.

The children opened their books to the correct page.  Today, they had to choose the small letter that corresponded with the big letter.  After a little demonstration,

the children got to choosing and coloring.

They pronounced the letters well, but identifying small “Q” was still a bit tricky. In the end, though, everyone enjoyed the coloring.

With the pencils put away and the books put back in their box, it was time to say “Goodbye, goodbye” to another lesson.  With a wave of their hand and a big high touch,

the children said goodbye and moved on. Excellent effort today. A job well done.

最後まで諦めずに走り切っていました‼️

『頑張れ頑張れ〜📣』と応援し合う姿も✨

草むしりに夢中になっている子もいましたよ🤣🤣

全力で遊ぶことができて笑顔が止まらない子供達😄💖

また天気の良い日は遊びに行きたいと思います🌼
