Good Afternoon everybody!
Today was a fun lesson with our K 2 3 kids!
We started by practicing our vocabulary words for this month. This time the theme is “out and about”, so we are talking about places! Today we focused on the words “pool, my house, pet store, and school”.
This time around our sentences are harder than usual. Today we had a question “Where is he going?” and the answer “To the pool” or “to my house”. They did great with the answer but they need more practice with the question.
We played a fun Karuta game using the different vocabulary words, today it was extra difficult because if they touched the wrong card they would lose a point. Oh no!
Next we played a game using the flower petal toys in the class. They would have to find “10 green” or “3 blue” or “6 pink” petals and set them aside. The first person to do so would get 1 point. The game was a lot of fun! This time the girls won (the girls always win).
After that we didn’t have much time, but we had enough to do some coloring in our books. Today our letter was W and they colored a watch. At the end they had to make a sentence with their colored watch, “the watch is (pink)”.
To finish the day we did a quick stop game which they all did really well at. Tomorrow is going to be another fun lesson, see you soon!
