☆Kinder 2/3☆

The Kinder 2/3 class had quite an eventful Friday.  After throwing balls at the giant Oni, they started bowling at little Oni.

They set up the bottles. 6 scary Oni standing in formation.

Some liked to scatter many balls at once,

whilst others preferred the single, targeted shot.  Others still got a little help.

In the end, however, everyone had good fun.

Hmm, what is going on?

What are they running from?

Argh! Oh no, it’s a demon, and it appears to have caught some poor, unsuspecting child. Surely, someone will help him.

He’s being taken away. Help!

Everyone gets together and starts throwing some, very well aimed, balls.  The demon lets the child go. Phew!

Back looking for children. Some were scared,

others a bit nonplussed or a little embarrassed.

Whilst others still had a good laugh.

However, all good things must come to an end, and with a few good throws,

the demon retreated back whence it came.  Peace had returned, or had it. For not long before afternoon snack, a familiar form came knocking at the door.

The children were a bit more bold and fended off the scary demon.

Still, some children wandered too close and were caught.  Friends to the rescue.

Hang on, didn’t that demon have a club?

What? Be careful.

Someone is having fun.  Once the demon had left, it was time for a well deserved snack.

So, with some laughter, some tears, and a lot of well placed balls launched at the demons, the children said “Goodbye” to Setsubun, and “Hello” to the weekend.  Great job everyone.
