Hello today from our Kinder 1 class!
As we get ready to celebrate “Doll’s Day” at our school, our Kinder 1 class has been learning all about what makes the day special!
For this craft there were a lot of different pieces that they had to put together, and everything has its proper place!
Using glue, the put together all of their different materials and made sure おだいりさま is on the left, and おひなさま is on the right!
The Kinder 1 class learned that おひなさま is always holding something called an ”おうぎ”. It is better known as a folding fan, and it was often used for her to hide her face while appearing in court!
Hmm. . . So then I wonder what おだいりさま holds? We learned that it’s called a “しゃく”! It helped to demonstrate their status so that you can know at a glance what their rank was in the old court!
All of our decorations are up on the walls, decorating our school so make sure to have a look!
