This week, the Kinder classes drew monsters during art and math time. Each student began with a piece of paper and crayons. The teacher drew an outline of a body on their paper. Then each student took turns rolling a pair of dice. The numbers on the first die represented body parts. For example, 1 = eyes, 4 = noses, 6 = legs. The numbers on the second die represented the number of body parts. So, if the student rolled a 1 and a 3, they would draw three eyes on their monster.

These are the monsters the Kinder 1 class created. One monster has a lot of eyes and the other has a lot of legs. Last, the students practiced this week’s English vocabulary to talk about their what their monsters can do. “He can read,” or “He can drive.”

今日は火曜日という事でサッカーのレッスンがある日です！⚽
みんなサッカーのレッスンをとっても楽しみにしているようです♪
コーチの動きをよーく見てジャンプをしたりシュートをしたり！
楽しそうにレッスンに参加していました！

最近入園した子も少しずつ園の生活に慣れてきているように感じます！
5月入園の子達はもうすっかり慣れ、まだ慣れていなくて不安そうな子や
泣いてしまう子に優しく声をかけたり気にかけている様子も見られるようになりました！
子ども達の成長の早さにいつもとてもびっくりさせられます！(^^♪

先週に発生した胆振東部地震の影響で休園させて頂いてましたが
本日から通常通り開園しております！
子ども達の元気な姿を見ることでき、本当に安心しました！

今回の地震で長期間の停電や断水、また何度も来る余震などで
心身ともに疲れてしまっている方も多いかと思います。
ですが街も少しづついつもの日常を取り戻してきています！
協力して頑張りましょう！
また、気象庁の話では1週間はまだ安心できないという事だったので
万が一に備えて防災リュックなどの準備をしておくといいかもしれません！
園の掲示板にも避難所マップを貼りましたので確認お願い致します！

今日のプリキンダーの様子をご紹介します!

今日のプリキンダーはとってもとっても元気いっぱい‼︎
みんなサッカーのレッスンをすごく楽しみにしているようです♪
コーチのお手本をよく見てJUMP JUMP！RUN RUN！

これは、コーチがred! yellow!! blue!!と
ランダムに言われたのをよ〜く聞いて
コーチが言った色にJUMP！KICK!!
みんなとっても集中して出来ていたとコーチもすごく
褒めていました！みんなすごいね！
Good Job!!(^^♪

今日のアフターレッスンはリズム遊び♪
最初は身体を使って壁をノックしたりタッチしたり走ったり！
みんな上手にリズムに合わせて動けるようになってきました！

その後はみんなが大好きなスカーフを使ったリズム遊び♪
先生がスカーフを出した瞬間みんなとっても嬉しそう！
スカーフを頭に巻いてMagic Hatの出来上がり！
みんな思い思いに巻いてとっても可愛いですね！

SPECIAL REPORT

The big day finally came and all of the students did a fantastic job!
They had worked really hard to prepare over the past few weeks and all the hard work paid off.
We were so proud of them all. 💛💖💙

As soon as they heard “Ready, set, GO!!”, they were off!!

Thank you to all of the parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, and other family members and friends who came to support the students.

Despite the unfamiliar environment, the students managed to overcome their nerves and give some outstanding performances!

The students also enjoyed racing with their teachers and parents in the Wheelbarrow Races and the Parent & Child Dressing Up races.

And everyone was very happy to receive their well-deserved medal at the end of the event.
Well done!!

ナーサリ―クラスのサークルタイムの様子です！！
5月の開校から入園した子たちは4ヶ月が経ちました。
まだまだ言葉がハッキリと出てこなかった子も、少しずつ発声出来るようになり、
英語も自然と出てくるようになりましたよ♪

カラーやナンバーを認識して言えるようになりました♪

一人ずつ名前と年齢、今日の気分を聞いていきます！
講師からの質問を理解して、答えられるようになりましたよ!(^^)!
自分の名前もしっかり言えます♪

「How are you?」に対して、「Happy！！！」と元気よく答えたり♪♪♪

ネイティブの英語を日々聞いているので、発音もとっても良く、
この4ヶ月での子ども達の英語の吸収力に私たちも驚くばかりです！！！
これからも英語をどんどん吸収してほしいなと思います(^^♪

The big day is coming soon! Only two more days! Today the nursery class practiced the soccer, egg and spoon, and sprint events. The one and two year olds have progressed so much over the past few weeks!

Most of the students can hold a plastic shovel, balance a plastic ball in the shovel, run to the goal, (a matching color case,) drop the ball into the case, and run back to their team. Through this activity the students have practiced matching colors.

 

For the soccer event, the students jump through four hoops, run to the matching colored stand, place the ball on the stand, then kick their soccer ball into the goal. This is a lot to maneuver for one and two year olds, but again, most of the students can make a goal.

 

For the sprint, the students line up on the start line. When they hear “Ready, set, GO!”, they run to the finish line. It’s still a little difficult for some of the students to understand that they should run through the ribbon. So, they run as fast as they can and touch the ribbon.

 

The students have worked hard, learned a lot about colors and coordination, and had fun. Everyone is looking forward to this Saturday!

Just three days until our first Sports Day!
It’s a big day for the students who have been doing their best to practice as hard as they can!. These days, the corridors and playroom are filled with the sounds of “Ready, set, GO!” and little feet racing towards the finish line from morning through to the evening!

Meanwhile, all the staff are excited about seeing our students together with their families on the big day! We hope that everybody will have lots of fun, and if you have any concerns or questions please don’t hesitate ask us. We wish you all a safe trip and look forward to seeing you there.

最近の子どもたちの様子をお伝えします。

ナーサリークラス・プリキンダークラスの子どもたちは、とっても耳が慣れて来ている様子‼

園に来る度に、同じ言葉を繰り返し繰り返し聞くので、先生の言ってる事は、こういう事なんだ‼︎と、
理解出来るようになって来ています。

プリキンダークラスがサッカーに行く様子です。上手に手を繋いで歩いています^ ^

先生の“Hold hands, please!”の掛け声で、みんなお互いの手を差し出している様子がとっても可愛いですよ^ ^
もし、機会があればご自宅でも“Hold hands, please!”
と声を掛けてみて下さい。手を繋ごうとしてくれると思います‼
