We had another eventful Wednesday this week.

After the kinder classes had their swimming lesson and had lunch, we headed to the park.

The weather was nice and there was lots of fresh snow to play in. Everyone was excited to find that a new igloo had been made. They love pretending that it’s a house or a fort and all gather together to find things that will make it more special. These kids have great imaginations!

We returned from the park to finish up the day course and get ready for after school classes. Today was English day—a subject that our kids have no trouble with. The Kinder classes are reading “The Three Little Hippos” and are experts at refusing to let that wolf in by shouting, “No, you may not!”

The Nursery and Pre-kinder classes are working on their animals with Katie Koala. They love to sing and dance along with the songs and color in their workbooks. Everyone had a great day today!

今日は、ナーサリ―クラスの紹介です。
朝は大好きなママとのお別れで泣いたお友達もいましたが、
サークルタイムが始まるころにはみんないつもの笑顔に戻っていました。

今日はクラス入ったらすぐにお友達と手を繋いでアルファベットを指さして遊んでいたお友達。
普段の繰り返しの中でABCは当たり前のことになっているんだなぁ～と成長に嬉しく思いました。
遊びの中でも Let’ｓgo to sleep! 　Wake up!で寝たり起きたり、英語を聞き分けて楽しんでいるナーサリ―クラスです。

Happy!　Sad…. Great! Sleepy…みんなのフィーリングを聞いていきます。
少し前は、ただカードを選ぶだけでしたが、今は内容を把握して慎重に選ぶお友達が多くなってきています。
さぁ、今日はどんな気分かな？

今日のプリキンダークラスのスイミングレッスンの様子を紹介します！
今日のレッスンはどんなことするかなーとみんなワクワク♪
前回の練習の復習で今日もラッコさんや、ワニさんをしました！
更に今日はうさぎさんも登場♪
ぴょんぴょんと上手に飛んでました!(^^)!

先生が頭にお水をかけます！
少しびっくりするけどみんな顔に水が掛かっても泣いたりしません!(^^)!

そしてふかーい場所へみんなでレッツゴー！
足を水の中で一生懸命動かして進んでいきます♪

今日もとっても楽しそうなプリキンダーのみんなでした!(^^)!

【If you’re Happy】の歌に合わせて、講師の声掛けに合わせて手を上げてマラカスを振ったり、ゆっくりゆっくり振ったり、、、
みんなでやると楽しいですね!(^^)!　お友達同士で笑い合っていましたよ♪
お友達同士の関わりが多く、みんなでおしゃべりをしながら楽しんで過ごしていました！

Our Kinder class kids are in good health and as energetic as ever today! After our usual morning routine and a morning snack, the students headed up to the pool for their weekly swimming lesson.

Once they were warmed up, they jumped in the pool and practiced blowing bubbles before showing us how big of a splash they could make with their kicks.

Lately, they’ve been focusing on swimming without their arm floats in deeper water.
Everyone is making great progress. Good job guys!

After lunch, we were lucky enough to get to the park before it started snowing.
They love playing outside, especially in the snow!

午後の自由遊びの時間の様子です！
アフターの時間帯は1歳児から5歳児まで異年齢で関わる時間が多くなっています！
自分よりも小さいお友達のお世話をしたり、あやしたり、小さい子に優しくしようとする姿がたくさん見られます(^^♪

絵本を読むのがとっても大好きな子ども達♪
英語の絵本を講師に読んでもらい、絵本に出てくる物や動物の名前を教えてもらったり、
大きい子達は物語りの内容を理解して、質問をしたりしていますよ！！！

プリキンダーのスイミングレッスンの様子をご紹介！
今日も新しいことにチャレンジしました！
まずボールを投げて、自分の投げたボールを泳いで取りに行く練習♪

ラッコさんになりきって背泳ぎの練習もしました！

もう一つは深い所をみんなで並んで進んでいく練習です！
深い所もアームヘルパーと腰のヘルパーをつければ自分だけで
進んでいくことが出来るようになりました！

みんなびっくりするほど成長が早いです!(^^)!

プリキンダークラスの今日のレッスンの様子です！！！
今日は今月のテーマの「Fruit ＆ Vegetables」に沿って、野菜や果物のおもちゃを使ってレッスンをしました!

様々な野菜や果物のおもちゃを見て触って、
講師からの「What’s　this？」という問いかけに、「Carrot！」「Eggplant！」
と答えてくれます♪♪

「What color is lettuce?」には「Green！！！」と
英語での質問の意味を理解して、英語で答えることができます(^^♪

絵本を見ることが大好きな子ども達!(^^)!
絵本に出てくる動物の名前や物の名前を指を指して教えてくれますよ♪♪

Today the Kinder classes had their first swimming class of the new year. Everyone was excited to see Aoki-Sensei again and get back in the pool.

After warming up with some stretches and getting their floaties and wings on they were ready to jump in.

Everyone is very comfortable in the water and has the lesson routine down. They’ve even started practicing without their wings on.

From getting their faces wet to jumping in the water on their own, everyone has made great progress over the months.

After a quick soak in the jacuzzi we rinsed off, put on our own clothes, and got ready for a well-deserved lunch.
We can’t wait for next week’s swimming lesson!

今日は久しぶりのスイミングレッスン！
みんなとっても楽しみにしていたみたいです(^^♪

先生に向かって大きなジャンプ！！

輪っかを水の中に落として、自分の足で拾う練習！
拾った後は輪っかを冠にして遊んでましたよ!(^^)!

最後はみんな大好きな滑り台！
来週のスイミングも楽しみですね♪
