English Time – K2 and K3⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚

This past month has been a great month for K2 and 3. They worked so hard and learned so much! We also had so much fun playing different games and making different crafts! I’m so excited to share our month with you!

Of course we worked on our days of the week, but this month we played a new game. Our class is divided into 3 teams. I had one student from each team come up and take a day of the week without showing their team. They would then flip the card around, and the first team to shout their teammates day of the week wins. The students were competitive, but every team at least got one point! 🙂

This past month, we worked on phonics A LOT. We started with A and have made it to D! The students really seem to enjoy phonics! We played a phonics racing game this month! We had to go into the playroom to be safe, and once we were there I laid out B and C cards on the ground. The students had to listen for what sound I made and race to step on a corresponding card. So if I made the B sound, the students would race to a B card. Everyone did WONDERFULLY!

This month, we were eating, so we learned food names. We played a lot of different games to practice, but one of the students’ favorites was our drawing game. One team came up and picked a random card. They drew that item while everyone else closed their eyes and then the other students had to guess what they drew. It was super fun and everyone had a good laugh!

Of course, because this past month was international week, we worked hard learning our song along with how to say “hello” in other languages! We also learned what different country flags looked like. We did an egg and spoon relay race and the sack race! It was a blast!

Outside of English time, we also had a lot of fun together. We did an English craft together and made a fish bowl with fish, and the students got to make their own YUMMY sandwiches!

The students have grown so much! Handwriting and speaking have improved greatly. The kids have learned more foods, colors, and emotions to express themselves and what they want! I’m so proud of them! I can’t wait to see their growth over the next month!

最近のBabyクラス♪

先週より水遊びが始まりました。感触遊びで水や氷に触れたりしていましたが、先週から新しいおもちゃ等も増えて楽しそうに遊んでいましたよ！

お魚捕まえられるかな～？😊

暑すぎる日は室内で新聞遊びや、遊戯室で遊んでいます！

リングやテントでも遊んだよ～♪

また靴を履いて遊べるお友だちが1人増えてとっても楽しそうに遊んでいます♡

最近体調を崩してお休みされるお友だちが多かったので、みんな元気にそろって、遊べる日が楽しみです♬

2023年7月22日

現在のつくばファームの様子

梅雨が明け、本格的に夏がやってきましたね🌞

つくばファームの夏野菜もぐんぐん育っております🍆

スイカも育っており、イタチやタヌキに食べられる前にと収穫しますと・・・

なんと、まだ中が白くて食べられませんでした（涙）

次回の収穫に期待です🍉

トウモロコシ🌽もあと少しで収穫できそうです！

前回、野生動物たちに食べられてしまうという残念な結果となりましたが、諦めずに水をあげていると、また育ってきました！

トマト🍅も実り、あとは赤く熟すのみです☆

これは・・・。野生動物に食べられた跡です。😢😢😢

キュウリやトウモロコシは甘いのかすぐに食べられてしまいます。おいしい！！という証ですね(* ´艸｀)ｸｽｸｽ

食べられない方法、お金をかけずに何かいい方法があるか今模索中でございます🤔

☆Nursery☆

こんにちは！本日は、Nurseryクラスの様子をお届けします♪

はじめて片栗粉と水を使ったスライム作りに挑戦しました。

出来たスライムをスプーンですくって落とすと、どうなるかな？

実際に、手で触ってみました～！

感触遊び、楽しかったね！

次は、今週から始まった水遊びの様子です。

プールの中に手を入れて、バシャバシャ♪気持ちいいね！

プールの中に入っている金魚すくい（玩具）に挑戦したり

ペットボトルやジョウロに水をいれてシャワーにしたり。

思い思いの遊び方で、水遊びを楽しんでいました。

水分補給と休息を取りながら、夏ならではの遊びも楽しんで過ごしていきたいと

思います。

PKクラス

毎日暑い日が続きますね(;^ω^)

今日はPKクラスの水遊びの様子をお届けします♬

ペットボトルのジョウロで遊んだり☆

みんなで仲良く魚釣りも楽しんでいます！！

見学の子はお部屋の中で風船遊びです(^_^)/

投げたり、追いかけてつかまえたり、楽しく遊んでいますね♡

もうすぐ夏本番です！！この時期ならではの遊びをたくさん取り入れて楽しい思い出を増やしていきたいと思います(^^)/

K1クラス

こんにちは！

今回も元気いっぱいなK1さんの様子をお伝えします。

先週はInternational week がありました。毎日１か国ずつ掲示物を見ながら様々な国の文化に触れてきました。

日本から始まり、中国、インド　オランダ、アメリカの順で話を聞いたり、〇✖ゲームにも参加しました。

５日間真剣に話を聞いてくれていました。

〇✖ゲームではだんだんルールが分かってきて、正解すると大喜びです。

５日目はみんなが大好きなジョーダン先生の故郷のアメリカについて話を聞きました。

そして、K２K３さんと一緒に小さいお友達の前で歌の発表をしました。

小さいお友達や、他のクラスの先生にたくさん拍手をもらって嬉しそうなK1さんでした。

集会後にはK2K3さんと一緒に最後の〇✖ゲームをしました。

５日間の中で一番盛り上がった〇✖ゲームでした。

ビー玉と絵具を使った製作をしました。

好きな色を選んでビー玉をころころと転がして綺麗な模様ができました。順番を待っている間に片づけになってしまい、次の日やるように声をかけると泣いてしまう子もいました。製作活動が大好きなのが伝わってきました。

後日には、シールを貼って、白い画用紙に貼り付けてヨーヨーを完成しました。

みんなかわいい模様のヨーヨーができあがりました！！

また来週、かわいいK1さんの様子をお届けします。お楽しみに！！

K2・K3

今日はK2・K3のクラスの様子をお届けいたします♬

インターナショナルウィークがありました🌎

５カ国の国について学びました！！

最終日はプレイルームへ行きました！！

アメリカについてジョーダン先生が教えてくれました☆彡

久しぶりに行うと…「とっても汚れていた」「きれいにしよう」と一生懸命

掃除を行う姿がありました！！

きれいになると「見て！見て！きれいになったよ！」と教えてくれました☺

「どんなふうにしようかな？」と悩んでいたり…

「大きい家作りたい！」「エレベータ作ってみよう」と言っている

お友だちの声も聞こえました！！

グループごとにどんな家を作ったのか前に出て発表してくれました！！

最後にみんなが大好きなお給食の様子です🍴

お当番さんが給食を運んでくれています！！

K2・K3のみんなは協力的でいつも準備が早いです！

English Time – K1 ⋆ ˚｡⋆୨୧˚

In June, K1 did a wonderful job. They had lots of fun learning so many different things. As usual, we start our classes off with our “Walking Walking” song. Even though we do it often, the students find so many ways to make it exciting! EVERYONE does the dance and most of the students sing loudly! Once a week, I pick different students who sing loudly lead the class! They always seem to love it.

We added our “How’s the weather?“ and “What‘s today’s date?“ boards! The students love participating in changing out the cards on the board and asking and answering our board questions.

Last month, we started focusing on our days of the week and our months. We do a song and a chant to help them remember! Everyone did so well that we even had fun playing new games. 7 students would pick a random day of the week, and they would try to organize themselves. Their classmates would help as well. Once they thought they were in the correct order the students would chant the day of the child that I am standing behind. Everyone did so great!

We also practice our colors through our color shakers. We also have our fruit shakers, so every week, we alternate. The students have so much fun learning about their colors and fruits this way, and it has also been a great way to teach the students to raise their hand and ask politely for which color/fruit they would like. The students also have fun using our shakers. We’ve learned so many opposites like “up” and “down” and “loud” and “quiet.” I am so happy, and they have a blast!

We did a lot of different things last month, and the students and I made so many gestures for all of our actions. We also worked on learning how to get the rain to leave us alone! We learned the “Rain Rain Go Away” song. We had so much fun doing this chant on rainy days!

English isn’t all about talking! We also focused on writing this month. The students worked on writing their alphabet as well as writing their names. Names have been a bit hard, so we’ve been working hard to improve. We have been learning how to individually write each letter. The students have improved greatly and I am so proud of them!

We’re only half way through July, and the students are doing so well! I can’t wait to update you guys next month!!!
