✨Kinder 1✨

The K1 Class got their dance on today! 💃🪩🕺

👏🕺👏💃👏

Everyone put on their dance costumes. There were so many colors to choose from! 🤔💕🌈

Then they took their places and got ready for a dance party! 🎉

Today was the first day of July and the children of Kinder 1 were looking forward to the start of the pool play season. As a result they had a slightly shorter English lesson, so to start, we went “Walking, walking.”

Warmed up, the children sang “Hello, hello.” They are great at doing the movements, clapping, stomping, stretching high, and turning around. They are also giving the singing a good attempt.

The one thing the children love to do is yell “hello”, and with a great wave to go with it.

Once the singing was done, the children were asked how they were feeling. This generated lots of “sleepy,” “hungry,” and “happy” responses.

With that finished, we turned to the new monthly phrase. This month it is, “Yummy!” For this, the children were shown 3 food items. A cream bun, a chocolate donut, and a chunk of carrot.

With a quick demonstration of enjoying a piece of donut, the instructor would go “yummy”, rubbing his tummy, and ask if the children though donuts were yummy.

If yes, they would be encouraged to say “yummy.” If not, they’d be encouraged to say “yucky.” After doing the same for the cream bun and the carrot, the children discussed what other foods they found either “yummy” or “yucky.”

Afterward, we looked at the date. First, going through the days of the week and months, then singing the appropriate song for each.

They were then asked what day and month it was. When one person got the answer, the rest repeated and that person got to put up the card.

For the day, the children can read numbers 1, 2, 3, etc. well, but struggle with first, second, third, and so on. So here, we focused on first, second, and, specifically, third.

With the last card in place, everyone practiced saying the full date,

With that complete, it was time to say goodbye. Again, the children’s singing is coming on nicely. With a goodbye fist bump, the children prepared for their next activity. Great job, everyone.

☆Kinder2☆

こんにちは！

先日、給食さんをお招きして「出汁」の飲み比べをしました😊

「だしってなあに？？？」とK２さん

「おみそ汁をおいしくしてくれる大事なお仕事をしてくれるスープのことだよ」

と教えてもらいました☆

この日は三つの出汁を飲み比べ🐟にぼし・かつおぶし・昆布

「ちょっとこのにおい知ってる！」と恐る恐る飲んでみる様子。

「においが・・・にがて・・・」

出汁だけで飲むと、初めての味で驚きがたくさんでした😊

最後におみそ汁の①出汁なし味噌汁　②出汁入り味噌汁　を飲み比べをしました

なんかこれおいしー！！♡

その日から、おみそ汁をおいしく飲んでいるK２さんです💓

Nurseryクラス😉

先日、6月生まれのお友達の誕生日会をしました🎂🎉

前に出るとちょっぴり緊張気味でしたが、みんなでHappy Brthdayを歌って

お気に入りの絵本が始まるとこの笑顔😊✨

『おめでとー🎉👏』と大きな声でお祝いすると、とっても嬉しそうなお顔を見せてくれましたよ😆✨

今月お誕生日のお友達は誰かな〜😋楽しみだね✨

最後に今日のEnglishの様子です☝️

歌に合わせてお顔を隠してPeek-a-boo🤗をしているところです🎶

みんな、ばあ❗️のタイミングもよ〜く音楽を聴いてバッチリ👌な

Nurseryさんでした🌟

最近お友達のお名前を優しく呼んだり、手を繋いで仲良く歩いたりしている姿を

見ることが増え微笑ましく思います🌱

また明日もたくさん遊ぼうね😉

K1クラス

今週もイベント盛沢山だったK１クラスのお友だち

火曜日には６月生まれのお誕生日会がありました。

みんなよりも少しお姉さんになったお友だちを

みんなでお祝いすることが出来ました。

英語のクイズで遊んだり、英語の手遊びを楽しんだりと

子ども達にとって楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。

お部屋では、雨の日の製作を仕上げました。

のりを使って、傘を貼って

雨粒ちゃんもぺったんと貼ってみました。

いつでもユニークな子ども達の作品にほっこりしています。

そして、木曜日は「まなびの時間」でした。

子ども達の大好きなゆか先生が来てくれて、「わたしのワンピース」の絵本を題材にした製作を子ども達と一緒にやりました。

うさぎさんの顔をクレヨンで描いたり、ワンピースに模様をつけたりと

表現を楽しんでいる子ども達。

感性豊かな子ども達のうさぎさんは、とっても可愛く出来上がりました。

最近は、製作のあとにお友だちと一緒に見せ合う姿も見られるようになりました。

お友だちのを「かわいいね」と褒める場面もありました。

金曜日、朝は少し雨模様だったため、ほのか先生が準備してくれたボールでゲームごっこをして遊びました。

初めてのボールゲームに子ども達は興味津々。

最初は、２列になって後ろのお友だちに頭の上からボールを渡していったり、足の間からボールを渡していったりしました。

慣れない状態の子ども達でしたが、段々と慣れてきて楽しんで参加する姿が見られました。

次はボール運びゲームです。

お友だちと手を繋いで、腕にボールを乗せてコーンをぐるっと回って帰ってきます。

呼吸を合わせながら、ゆっくりゆっくりと歩いてゴール。

ちょっと慎重になりすぎて、ゆっくり過ぎてしまったりもしましたが

子ども達も楽しんで参加していました。

最後はかけっこごっこをして遊びました。

一生懸命走った子ども達。

でも、競争で負けてしまって悔し涙を流す姿もありました。

そんな時、子ども達が近くに行って慰めてあげる姿も見られました。

体もちょっと大きくなって、気持ちもちょっとお兄さんお姉さんになっているK１クラスの子ども達。

今日で６月もおしまいですが、７月からも元気に遊んでいきましょう！！

☆Kinder 2☆

Today, the Kinder 2 class started their English lesson in the way they like best. Singing, and moving to, “Walk Around the Circle.”

They love this song. First, a little walking to warm-up, followed up with some galloping.

Then a quick nap.

The ‘legs in the air’ nap seems quite popular, though I can’t speak to the comfort for as soon as they were down it was time to wake up and hop and twirl.

When the warm-up had finished, we moved straight into the “Hello, hello” song. The children clapped their hands, stamped their feet,

and, when the time came, gave a big hearty “Hello!” to each other.

Great energy.

Next, the children practiced counting to 30. They still have difficulty with the late teens, but their twenties are very good.

For a game, the children were first asked to arrange themselves into 3 groups. Once arranged they were asked “How many?” and had to count the number of children in their group.

Then, a number of objects were placed on the ground and the groups were given 10 seconds to count them. They had to follow the instructions: ‘Don’t approach the objects’, and ‘Count in English’.

They all did very well, getting a number very close to the big pile’s 22 tiles. The late teens can be tough.

With the game done, the children went back to sitting together, and practiced introducing themselves. After a small demonstration from the English instructor, it was the children’s turn.

They went round one-by-one. Some were a little shy and needed encouragement to give a big, loud voice, but all gave their name and age well and got a good round of applause.

After the introductions, it was time for another song. The “ABC song.” This is s slightly faster variant of the song the sang last year, but they have taken to it well. Especially the part where they sing by themselves.

Once the singing was done, we got out the tables, workbooks, and colored pencils. Today, we were looking at the letter ‘Qq’.

They had to match the letter ‘Qq’ to the quilt, then color the picture.

With that done, the lesson came to an end with the “Goodbye, goodbye” song. Another good day for the Kinder 2 class, full of laughs, loud saying of hello, and games. Great job, everyone.
