今日のキンダークラスは…

ピザを作りました！
小麦粉コネコネ、ぺったんぺったん

腕にも顔にも小麦粉つけて、一生懸命作りました！

後は乾くのを待つだけ!!

今日はキンダークラスの遠足でした！
地下鉄に乗って大通公園までいってきました！
みんなで初めて乗る地下鉄にみんなドキドキわくわく！
公園に着いたらみんなでランチタイム♪
いっぱい歩いたからみんなお腹ペコペコ！
お外でみんな一緒に食べるお弁当はとっても美味しかったね♪

公園にはとっても大きい滑り台やアスレチックブランコなど沢山の
種類の遊具がありみんな遊びたくて待ちきれない様子！
でもやっぱりみんな最初は大きな滑り台に直行！
何回も何回も滑っていました♪
アスレチックではお店屋さんごっこをしたり、海賊ごっこをしたり、
思い思いに遊んでいました♪
その後はシャボン玉やバルーンを使ったアクティビティをしてあっという間に
帰る時間です。

帰る時に少し雨が降ってきたのでみんなで木の下に雨宿り！
「この木を抜いたら傘になるかな？」と誰かが言ったら
「そうかも！」とみんなで一生懸命木を抜こうと頑張っていました！
ビクともしない木でしたが、子どもの発想に私はとてもびっくり！！

帰りはさすがにみんな歩き疲れた様子。
でもみんな一緒に頑張って無事にスクールに到着！
帰ってから遠足のお絵かきをしました！
とっても上手に描けたね♪

みんな本当にお疲れ様でした♪
今日がみんなの中で楽しい思い出になってくれたらいいなと思います♪

今日はナーサリー・プリキンダークラスのスイミングレッスンでした！

プリキンダークラスの子ども達はアームリングを付けて一人ずつコーチや講師に支えられながら泳ぎましたよ♪
バタ足を意識して、泳ぎながら足を動かす練習をしました！！！

ビート板の上に座ってお友達を待っている後ろ姿がとっても可愛いですね♪

ナーサリ―クラスでは、ボールを使って遊びました！
プールの中でボールを掴んで投げてかごに入れるのですが、お水の中でするとまた違った感覚で、みんなとっても楽しんでいましたよ♪

毎回子ども達の様子に合わせて、スイミングのコーチがレッスン内容に工夫を凝らしています。
楽しみながら自然と泳ぎに繋げていけるようになる事を意識して行っていますよ！

Today we made our own town!
What kind of amenities should we build in the town?
How about an ice cream parlor? That’s important!
Shops, supermarkets, hospitals and a fire station, but we need two pizza restaurants of course.
Let’s name the streets too. Every student gets to name their own.
Everybody wants the street with the ice cream parlor!

It’s great fun to make our own worlds and fill them with the things we enjoy but this was also a good opportunity for the students to learn, through English, about their community.

Throughout the week all of our students practice their reading and writing skills.

The Kinder 1 class is practicing writing their names and drawing their families.

On Wednesdays, the after school program is English and the Kinder students take a NOVA Bilingual Kids class.

In the picture, the students are doing a listening quiz to join letters and make a fish.
After doing this, we practiced the language from the lesson.
“What can you see?” “I can see a fish.”

今日はみんなで棒を使ってカンカンカン！と
音を鳴らしてみました！
棒と棒を叩いてみたり、床を叩いてみたり、叩く場所で音が変わり
みんな音の違いを感じてとっても楽しそうでした。

リトミックではいつもいろんな楽器を使ったり、身体を動かしたりします！
ジャンプをしたり、走ったり、ゆっくり動いたり！
みんなで身体を動かすととっても楽しいね！！

今日のアフターレッスンは、読み聞かせの時間でした。

絵本も全て英語ですが、キンダークラスの子は物語りの内容を理解している様子でした！
ナーサリー・プリキンダークラスの子達は、講師の真似をして発声したり、
絵本にタッチをして楽しんでいましたよ！

シャボン玉遊びではみんなとっても大はしゃぎ!!!!
シャボン玉を追いかけてタッチしては嬉しそうにしていました♪♪♪

バルーンではみんなで引っ張って上げたり下げたり♪♪
大きい子から小さい子まで夢中になっていましたよ！！！！

This month, the Nursery class is practicing the color “green”.
Every day during Circle Time, the teacher passes out green blocks and the students look around the room searching for the color green.

Some students found green on our ABC wall today.

Lyn is helping some students find green on the panda tree.

Every time a student finds green, we chant, “green, green, green!”
The students are also using the color outside of Circle Time.
While we were washing our hands, one of the students noticed the color of the soap and shouted, “green!”.

What can an insect teach us?
Children can learn so much from exploring the natural world and playing in the park. Now that summer has arrived, the park is teaming with insects and bugs. Naturally, the children are really curious about them.
Today in the park we learned about insects, asking and answering questions such as “What do they eat?” “What do they do?” “Where do they live?”

I’m happy that the children could connect with their environment and I hope that a greater understanding of it will encourage them to care for it. Let’s keep exploring!

今日は、キンダー1と2の様子を紹介します。
キンダー1のクラスの先生は、とても面白い表現の仕方をしていました。
“クーピーを紙の上でいっぱい滑らせて、いっぱい描いてね”

2人ともいーっぱい絵を書いてました!!
先生に何か聞いて欲しい時、ちゃんと英語で“◯◯ please”と言うことも出来ていました(*^_^*)⭐
キンダー2もスケート靴作りです。

“Smile, please”と言うと、こんなに素敵な顔をしてくれました。
この後、みんなスケーターになったかの様にクルクルお部屋の周りを回っていました。
