Hello everyone! Hope you're having an amazing week.

Let's look at what the Kinder class has been up to in English class!

Today we had a visitor, so we practiced asking:

"What's your name?" and "How are you?" in a big voice.

Then we asked each other, "How are you?" A lot of us answered with, "I'm sleepy." (｡-ᆺ-｡)z z

This month we're learning family words: mom, dad, brother, sister, grandma, grandpa, dog, and cat.

We played a new game to try to remember the words - musical flashcards!



We pass the cards around while the music plays and when it stops, the person holding the card says the word out loud. (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

Once we remember the vocabulary we can try to use it in the sentence: "It's my (sister)."

We also started singing the alphabet with a new song: The Alphabet Chant.



Since we've remembered the alphabet pretty well now, we are also working on learning the phonics sounds for each letter.



"D" d, d, duck! "B" b, b, book!

Before you know it, we'll be able to start reading short word!

The Kinder class has come so far in just three months.

I can't wait to see how much more they can grow!
