☆Kinder 1☆
2024.02.05
Today, the Kinder 1 class started their lesson with a little light exercise. Some walking, hopping, jumping, swimming, and sleeping. This was followed by saying and singing the “Hello” song.
Next, they practiced asking for things. This time, they were asking for a color of domino using “I want (__), please.”
Everyone had a chance to ask for a color.
They know the sentence, “I like (__),” well, so had to be careful not to confuse the two.
Once everyone had a domino, they placed them in a line trying not to knock over the already placed dominoes. After a few accidents, the dominoes were ready and one lucky child got to set them off.
Next, the children practiced their numbers. First counting up to 20, then trying to use their fingers whilst counting.
They are a little young to multitask, so they were either good at singing or good at using their fingers. Both at the same time was tricky, but whatever they chose, they did well.
After counting, they sang and performed the “Pinocchio.” First, they practiced their ‘left’ and ‘right’. Both arms and legs.
Once they were comfortable with ‘left’ and ‘right’, they formed a circle and had one more practice before the song.
Then it was music time. Everyone enjoyed going in and out, turning around, and singing as best they could.
And, of course, who could forget “chin up.”
They enjoyed it so much, they all called for “one more time” once it had finished. So one more time they got.
They got a little carried away.
Finally with a sing of the “ABC” song and a letter search, it was time to say good-bye. The children had had an exciting morning, and sung well.
Great job, everyone.
