☆Kinder 1☆
2024.05.20
Today, the Kinder 1 children started by reading their names. The child whose name was read must respond with a big “here!”

Everyone was very vocal, and gave a great “here” with a nice raise of the arm.

Everyone then stood up to sing the “Hello” song. First, they had to clap their hands,

then stamp their feet.

Next, stretch up high,

followed by touching their toes and turning around. Then a big hello.

The last part of the song they sang themselves, and sing it well they did.
Once they had sat down, the children practiced 1 hand, 2 hands, and fingers. As well as 1 foot, 2 feet, and toes. Again, big gestures were encouraged.

They then counted the fingers on their hands,

and the toes on their feet.

Again, after counting the fingers, they gave a little clap.

At the end of this week, the children have Family Day. For this the children sat down to draw their house, and later their family. First, they were shown what to do and named the parts they could draw. Roof, windows, door, and so on.

They were then given their house and color pencils, and off they went. They were asked about colors and what they were drawing, and encouraged to answer.

They were very happy with the finished product. They drew some interesting houses.

When done, it was time to goodbye. The drawings and color pencils were collected, and the children stood up to sing.

The singing was loud, the actions big and happy. The children did a great job today. Keep up the good work, everyone.
