☆Nursery☆
2024.10.25
Today, the Nursery children started their lesson off by performing to the “Hello Song.”

They are getting very good at waving hello, and at demonstrating “I’m happy.”

Next, the children warmed-up with a little walking around.

Walking is good fun and the children had fun walking slowly and fast. They tried to jump and hop as best they could and then went for a quick run.

Of course, the most important action to learn is “Stop.”

Nice job.
The children sat down on the mat and we looked at Halloween costumes.

From these, the children were free to choose which costume they were interested in.

They listened to the costume name and were encouraged to say it.

The children then wandered about pretending to be the Halloween character.

From a friendly monster, to a happy vampire, everyone enjoyed roaming around.
The cards were then collected and, to continue the Halloween theme, the children listened to “5 Creepy Spiders.” Again, the children pretended to be Halloween characters and move with the music.

From creepy spiders crawling, and black cats running,

to ghosts haunting,

the children enjoyed moving about.
To finish the lesson the children listened to “The Wheels on the Bus.” Once again, they were adept at the actions. The door opening and closing,

the wipers swish, swish, swishing,

and the horn beeping. Some children even giving a quick “beep, beep.”

Even rocking a crying baby was exciting.

Very good. With that, the children counted to 3 and with loud voices said, “Goodbye.”
Another great effort by the Nursery children. Their recognition of actions and characters is coming on nicely. Keep up the great job.
