Hello today from the Kinder 2 classroom~! (⌒ω⌒)ﾉ

Our English lesson today started as it usually does with practicing our introductions. To maximize the experience we combine our introduction practice with some rock, paper, scissors! The students make a big circle and then turn to the person next to them.

"Ready? Rock, paper, scissors... 1, 2, 3!" The winner does their introduction first and then we switch it up!



By putting their hands out in front of them they pretend to be submarines as they move towards a new friend on the opposite side of the circle and repeat their introductions!

"My name is Ariani, and I'm 4 years old!"

The great thing about having a big classroom is being able to move around while learning so the students can stay focused! (★ω★)



Next up today was the popular game "Stomp"! As the teacher calls out the language on the card, the students walk towards the correct flashcard and use one foot to step on it!

Once everyone has found the correct card we can use the language together as a group!

"I'm at the swimming pool!"



Once we finish warming up with "Stomp!" next up is a rock, paper, scissors tournament! Dividing up the class into two teams, the people at the front of the line do a round of rock paper scissors and the winner gets to grab a small card for their team!



Once they grab the correct small card, they have to match it up to the big card and say the language!

"I'm at the restaurant!"



Today we ended our class time by doing a practice run of our performance for the School Festival! The students are doing their best every day to get ready for this weekend so they are able to show their parents their best! (ノ^_^)ノ
