Hello from our Pre-Kinder class!

Today is all about Children's Day!

Although our Pre-Kinder class has made some simple crafts before, this was their first time using paint!



How fun! After choosing their own base color, they used some toilet paper rolls and other fun shapes to create beautiful stamps on their art.





This is great practice for their finger dexterity, since they have to grip whatever implement they chose tight enough not to drop it, but no so tightly that they crush it!



It's also great for practicing their hand eye coordination, since the stamps are oddly shaped they have to check where they are aiming!



Pink stamps on pink paper with a pink smock. . . Of course the answer to the question "what color do you like?" can only be "I love pink!"
