☆Pre-Kinder☆

Hello today from our Pre-Kinder classroom!

This week our Pre-Kinder class helped a very hungry caterpillar turn into a butterfly!

First off they had to help the caterpillar get enough to eat, so they broke up into teams and raced around the room gathering up lots of tasty treats to feed their caterpillar.

Go, go! You can do it!

After all of the teams had their turn, the team that managed to get the most food for their caterpillar was declared the winner and they were given some beautiful medals!

Great job! \(★ω★)/

Then, the students took some time to look over “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” book by Eric Carle and they reviewed what had a happened so far.

First the caterpillar, then lots of food, then they wait a little bit, then it turns into a chrysalis. . . What happens next?

A butterfly!

To help make the butterfly even more beautiful, the Pre-Kinder class drew some extra patterns and shapes in order to stick them on to the wings!
