Happy International Week from the Pre-Kinder classroom!

This year, we decided to try a fun new game that tests our students motor skills - the egg race!

Originally, this game would have used real eggs and very small spoons as an added challenge, but for our Pre-Kinder class we used our favorite ice cream cone toys as well as some of our plastic toy balls.



Carefully, they put the ball on top of the ice cream cone and had to walk it across the classroom without dropping it and carefully put it into a small container!

 

Everyone got a chance to participate, and sometimes it was even a race between several students! Great job, Pre-Kinder! (✯◡✯)



Once that was finished, we spent some time learning about the flags of different countries. In Pre-Kinder, it's still a little bit of a challenge to say all of the country names, but everyone is great at saying the names of the colors!



Everyone enjoyed holding on to their colored pencils and decorating the flags of different countries with beautiful colors.
