今日は夏にぴったり！「日焼け」の英語表現についてご紹介♪
●「（人が）日焼けする」 get a sunburn
I spent the whole day at the beach yesterday, so I got a sunburn.
(昨日1日中ビーチで過ごしたから、日焼けしたよ。)
●「（物が）日焼けする/色あせる」(be/get) faded
A: Oh no! My stuffed toy got faded!
(なんてこと！ぬいぐるみが色あせちゃった。)
B: Well, that’s too bad. You shouldn’t have put it near the window.
(残念だね。窓のちかくに置いとくべきじゃなかったね。)
●「日焼け止め」sunscreen
A: Don’t forget your sunscreen!
(日焼け止めを忘れないでね！)
B: Thanks for reminding me, Mom. I almost forgot it.
(言ってくれてありがとう、お母さん。危うく忘れるところだったよ。)
