事の大小はあるにしても、間違うこともあるよね。認めたくないけど。。。
間違いをしちゃったときに使える表現を紹介するね。

He’ll have to face the music for his wrongdoings sooner or later.
（彼は早かれ遅かれ間違いをいさぎよく認めるべき。）

face the music は「結果を受け入れる、向かい合う」という意味。

She finally faced the music and admitted to her boss that she’d deleted the files or something.
（彼女はとうとうファイルか何かを消してしまったことを上司に認めたよ。）

何だか予想もつかない意味だよね。
